  The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency are responsible for carrying out theory and practical driving tests fairly and consistently for cars, motorcycles, buses, lorries and other vehicles. They set the standards for Approved car Driving Instructors (ADIs), and Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) for motorcyclists.
